01

Protection

Safe accommodation, case management, health support and safeguarding create the conditions in which recovery can begin.

02

Recovery

Trauma-informed group and individual support strengthens emotional stability, voice, connection and hope without rushing disclosure or transition.

03

Readiness

The girl’s willingness and observable readiness are considered alongside caregiver understanding and the safety of the receiving environment.

04

Family preparation

Caregivers and trusted family members are engaged to strengthen understanding, routines, protection and support after return.

05

Transition

Education, skills, family and community pathways are planned around the girl’s circumstances rather than imposed as a standard sequence.

06

Current programme design

The present 12-month design is intended for 25 adolescent girls and engagement with approximately 50 caregivers and family members.
