From recovery to safe and sustained livelihood.
For older youth aged 15–18 who cannot safely return home or re-enter formal school, SkillPath connects readiness to child-safe artisan training, certification, placement and follow-up.
Matching
Interests, strengths, location, safeguarding considerations and realistic opportunities inform the artisan pathway.
Training
Prepared artisans provide practical learning within expectations for supervision, conduct and child-safe participation.
Certification
Where appropriate, training connects to recognised assessment and certification pathways.
Placement
A completed course is not the outcome. SkillPath supports a safe transition into work or further livelihood development.
Verification
Follow-up at 4, 8 and 12 weeks checks retention, conditions, participation and stability. In 2025, 52 older youth participated and 47 retained placements at 12 weeks.
